Venus Fly Trap in Action (Video)

The Venus Fly TrapThe Venus Fly Trap (Dionaea muscipula) is the most well known species of carnivorous plants. This plant attracts its pray by using a sweet nectar. Once the insect has landed on the plant and it touches one of its triggers, there’s no escape. The trap snaps closed, trapping the victim.
