The Northern Light (Video)

aurora borealis

Shining above Bear Lake, this phenomena is perhaps one of nature’s greatest visual masterpieces. Named after the Roman goddess of the dawn, Aurora, the unusual glow can only be seen in the Northern hemisphere, ocurring from September to October and from March to April. Witness a breathtaking show, the aurora borealis!

  1. Beautiful video. But it’s not only “seen in the Northern hemisphere”, nor is it “the aurora borealis”. As the title and ending plainly state, it’s the aurora australis, and the images are taken at the South Pole.

  2. Thanks. Very beautyful video. It’s so good, that today we can see all these things. I had this possibility for the first time only in internet.
