More and more animals die to create a designer fur coat. To make one fur coat you must kill at least 55 wild mink, 35 ranched mink, 40 sables, 11 lynx, 18 red foxes, 11 silver foxes, 100 chinchillas, 30 rex rabbits, 9 beavers, 30 muskrats, 15 bobcats, 25 skunks, 14 otters, 125 ermines, 30 possums, 100 squirrels, or 27 raccoons.
Are these numbers really worth it? To raise some awareness and prevent the fur industry from growing, an organization adopted an interesting view on the subject: the used world famous dictators to support their cause. See what ads resulted!

What a load of guff - anyone who knows anything about mink knows that they are vermin, like rats. Why not use farmed animals to make coats? They’re animals, we have farmed and used them for thousands of years as food and for clothing, there’s no sound moral argument that holds up to say why we shouldn’t use them like any other resource.
Pay more attention to the real issues facing humanity and maybe the world would be a better place
As for me, I don’t like this sort of publicity for negative events and characters. In the last period you can find them on every step. And the quantity is changing in the new point of view: what you see in these quantity you don’t perceive as negative, but as a normal part of the life.
And here is the question: who is interested in this change?
And the persons, that did this photos, whose game are they playing?
What you failed to mention is that part of these animals are endangered due to the fur industry. Furthermore, many animals have become extinct because their skin was used for fur. The world would be a better place if some of us would just open their minds.
Hitler was a vegetarian!
I consider cruelty to animals a major factor that contributes to humanity’s decline. It is very much “a issue facing humanity.” If we, as the supposed “intelligent” species, we must be able to recognize our consequences and stop this unnecessary behavior.
A reply to They’reAnimalsStupid’s comment. Using living beings as commodities is frowned upon when those beings are human. Why is it different for animals? We live in the 21st century, and our scientific advancements have made it possible to avoid the mistreatment of other living beings. So why would you not choose a humane alternative to fur? I believe anybody who has taken the time to objectively inform themselves of the facts can only come to the conclusion that the fur industry’s treatment of animals is inhumane.
By the way, Kirby, Hitler was only a vegetarian because of a stomach disorder that wouldn’t allow him to eat meat. Do the research.
