Fight Dog Cruelty!
I recently came across this heartbreaking picture of a dog tied around its mouth and thrown away with the garbage. I am left wondering why do some people keep a dog if they are not able to properly take care of it. After all, the dog is man’s best friend and this certainly is no way of treating a friend. If this picture touches you, then set the proper example by not doing such things to any animals.
Be a part of the solution and join a dog shelter or at least dedicate part of your weekend to helping abandoned dogs. What more can you do to help?
- Call your local animal control office, humane society, or sheriff’s department if you see a dog that is abused.
- Put up a fence instead of chaining your dog! Fences don’t have to be very expensive if you are willing to do some work yourself.
- Spaying and neutering a dog will help him to calm down and stay closer to home. The dog won’t run to search for mates and you won’t have issues with unwanted puppies.
- Provide food and fresh water daily. When you eat, remember to feed your dog also.

People that do this should be crucified , animals are defenceless and always loving . Its sad that owners treat animals so bad yet the animal still gives them back unconditional love.
