Most Adorable Baby Animals: The Gorilla

Sadly, the gorilla is today one of the most endangered species. According to scientists, there are only about 50,000 gorillas left in the African wild. They are losing their habitat at an alarming rate and efforts to save these creatures are slow. The following gallery of one of the cutest baby animals, the baby gorilla, is meant to raise a little awareness for these magnificent creatures.

  1. awwwwwwwuh!! love the hairstyle!! (or is that “furstyle”?)

  2. When you say endangered, you mention the wild gorillas only. Are the species as a whole in danger? Is there enoughe is zoos and so forth, to keep them alive?

And its hair, but I wouldnt say it is a style. I would be very suprised if Gorillas had the concept.

I would always support animal charities over human ones (I know humans are animals)

  3. They truly are a magnificent species. I can’t help but interject a little humour. In the first picture the young gorilla looks totally shocked at his first bad hair day.

  4. […] photos Bébé gorille Une étoile de mer géante (et perverse? regardez attentivement…) Bonnes publicités de la […]

  5. Peter, there are at least 3 species of gorilla (4 depending on which taxonomist you talk to). All of them are endangered. The ones in the pictures are mountain gorillas. The only gorillas found in zoos are western lowland gorillas, and no, there are not enough of them to really maintain a viable population even in captivity.

  6. On the first pic he has the Al Pacino hairdo and expression ;)

  7. Love the hair and wish I could get mine to puff out like that. Will miss these guys when (if) they’re gone, they are amazing creatures and so much like us.

  8. Unless we can change our attitude towards animals and our concept of nature these animals are doomed (and we will follow). By treating animals and nature as commodity and considering ourselves detached from them/it we will plunder, kill, eat, steal, exploit, rape and ravage our way into devastation. No matter how much you donate or oow and aaw over baby gorrilas. Change this horrible situation by changing yourself.

  9. Hey Doug. Speaking of changing yourself, ya wanna lighten up a little there, pal? Maybe you’ll be able to get a date then, and you’ll have better things to do than deliver over-serious speeches that impress no one but yourself. ‘Kay?
Unless by changing yourself, you were referring to an adult undergarment, in which case, what are you reading this for? For god’s sake, go change!
