The Baby Kangaroo that Could

Dogs are not only man’s best friend. This is what comes to mind when you see these pictures of an amazing dog saving a baby kangaroo. The 10yo dog found the baby kangaroo lost on a motorway near Victoria, Australia and decide to take care of it. Rex, the German short-haired pointer cross, was with its owner when they came across a dead kangaroo. The dog had found the four-month-old joey in the pouch of the mother and took it home. “He obviously sensed the baby roo was still alive in the pouch and somehow had gently grabbed it by the neck, gently retrieved it and brought it to me,” said the owner. Here are some shots of the amazing friendship:

  11. [...] What The World Eats is pretty interesting - It shows pictures of families from different parts of the world with everything that they purchased at the grocery store (or wherever they get their food) for that week, along with what they spent on it, and what their favorite foods are. It turns out that the Aboubakar family from Chad is living large… Who would have thought? [...]
